I have been writing in a journal on an almost-daily basis since I was 17 years old. This is a record of me going through each entry from the beginning, and commenting on the me from fifteen years ago.

A person had better stick to what they say. Believe in what they present. Sometimes, when she says things, I’ll know she’s lying because she’d really rather have it the other way. She wants me to believe she’s saying the things she wants when actually, she’s only trying to make someone happy. That’s me. And now I’m stuck.

This is actually a valuable life lesson for everyone. It’s okay to disagree or say no. Just state why you don’t want to do something or offer your differing viewpoint. If someone berates or makes fun of you for it, then they’re being an asshole.
