I have been writing in a journal on an almost-daily basis since I was 17 years old. This is a record of me going through each entry from the beginning, and commenting on the me from fifteen years ago.

Kim and I exchanged knowledge and wisdom today, here are the two things I learned:

 

- You have to stop wanting a relationship with a person, have to stop loving (in a sense) a person before you can decide if you like them or not.

- The only way a person can hurt you is if they know you. Those who don’t can at best anger you, but they can never truly destroy you.

 

I kind of agree with these statement, but kinda don’t as well. I think how you feel about these depends entirely on where you’re at with a current or past relationship. So it’s up to you if these are true.
