I have been writing in a journal on an almost-daily basis since I was 17 years old. This is a record of me going through each entry from the beginning, and commenting on the me from fifteen years ago.

I guess I know, I’ve always known, exactly what I want to be. Kind of everything, with specialties in one area. I just have trouble becoming those things. Believe it or not, I’m not confused right now. I’m excited. I’ve got things to strive for. I will come out above water. The future is grand, and it’s all in my hand.

How about that? I became what I wanted to be. A little of everything with specialties in one area. Wait, isn’t everyone that?
