I have been writing in a journal on an almost-daily basis since I was 17 years old. This is a record of me going through each entry from the beginning, and commenting on the me from fifteen years ago.
It’s very hard getting back into it, but I must. I must tap my mind and force it to relay the messages I want to hear. Let all go and just lay it down.
The hardest part of creation is facing that blank – paper, canvas, whatever – and overcoming it. Starting is way harder than finishing, in my opinion.
