I have been writing in a journal on an almost-daily basis since I was 17 years old. This is a record of me going through each entry from the beginning, and commenting on the me from fifteen years ago.

To create, no matter the results, is truly a beautiful and wonderful thing. To be alive, no matter the results, can sometimes be a crime. Create as much as you can while you are alive, so that you might find reprieve.

The line ‘Create as much as you can while you are alive,’ in this entry still strikes a chord with me. That should be our motto…except in regard to babies. Those we should probably limit.
