I have been writing in a journal on an almost-daily basis since I was 17 years old. This is a record of me going through each entry from the beginning, and commenting on the me from fifteen years ago.

Goals are always far out of reach, But remember the game. Creating the universe wasn’t easy, It was something to do. You have to do whatever you want to do or you might die tomorrow, the next day or in 80 years having never done it.

I like having something to do. Watching Television is moronic and witless. I like to write, paint, sculpt, mold, think, work for myself. I don’t like to fall prey to someone else’s thoughts.

Who’s right, who’s wrong, I don’t know. We’re all correct, we’re all completely off base. Listen to yourself, only you speak the common language.

I just realized something about my old style of journal writing. I liked to lie to myself and about myself in it - which really defeats the purpose of a diary, doesn’t it? Oh, you hate watching television? Then why do you do it all the time? The only thing you’ve painted is a Dungeons & Dragons miniature. And sculpting? When did you sculpt anything? Bullshit!
