I have been writing in a journal on an almost-daily basis since I was 17 years old. This is a record of me going through each entry from the beginning, and commenting on the me from fifteen years ago.
When I begin to think about the future, I think of many of the grim realities to come and it gets me down. I am, unfortunately, able to picture the pressures that I wil have to face in the times to come. So, I try not to think to far ahead of things to come. Worry about what’s here, right now.
True enough because if you worry about the problems you don’t even have yet, you’ll never do anything.
